News and EventsFoundation Initiative–Empower Our Families YOUTH LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE EGO and Gamma Mu welcomed a panelist of guests who lead the youth in a discussion on Entrepreneurship. Guest panelists shared their individual inspirations and knowledge on their journey to becoming entrepreneurs. After a Q&R session with the panelists, Co-leads LaToya Patton and Jackie Frost organized the students into groups to develop a business plan. The panelists assisted the groups with their plans. Once completed, the youth presented their plans to the audience. The program concluded by the youth awarding each presenter with a certificate of Appreciation.
Foundation Initiative–Empower Our Families Thank you to Co-Leads Verlene Texas and LaToya Sims and EGO Chapter Members who joined us on Wednesday, 1/25, to assemble 175 CHIP power packs. The power packs were delivered Friday morning to Dawson and Sonnie Hereford Elementary schools for distribution on Friday afternoon 1/26. A huge pink and green thank you to all sisters who supported our MLK Day of service CHIPP packing, YOU assembled over 500 power packs to be distributed among Dawson and Sonnie Hereford Elementary schools throughout the month of February.
